Kaitlin GoldsmithMARCO is pleased to announce the arrival of Kaity Goldsmith as our new Project Coordinator. Kaity began her new role on August 3 and joins the existing MARCO staff members in supporting the Management Board on advancing MARCO’s shared regional priorities.
 
Kaity had previously served with the Governor’s Natural Resources Office in Oregon. She earned a Master of Environmental Management with a focus in coastal and marine ecology and policy from Portland State University in Oregon. She also attended Bryant University in Rhode Island where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in French.
 
At MARCO, Kaity will support the team’s administrative functions and play a key role in advancing its climate change adaptation priority focus area. Working through the Climate Change Action Team (CCAT), She will also help manage the resiliency projects currently under development through North Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC) funding.
 
Kaity in TetonsIn her down time, Kaity regularly practices yoga and can often be found outdoors actively pursuing her passions of hiking, biking, camping and rock climbing.
 
Kaity’s diversified background in business and marine ecology is a strong contribution to MARCO and we are pleased to welcome her to the team.
