New Ocean Planning Film Features MARCO Chair, Laura McKay

 
MARCO Chair Laura McKay is featured in a new film on regional ocean planning from Swell Productions and Surfrider Foundation. The Next Wave is the story of ocean planning in the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic from the unique perspective of ocean recreational users.   Using the backdrop of gorgeous Atlantic-coast scenery from Virginia to Maine, filmmaker Chris Hannant showcases interviews with coastal stakeholders and government leaders about what we can each do to make a positive impact on this shared resource. The film puts into perspective how ocean planning can support discussion of ocean uses.
