Experience the Interactive Mid-Atlantic Ocean Forum Webinars – Now Online
MARCO and the Mid-Atlantic Committee on the Ocean (MACO) thank the hundreds of stakeholders who provided input on our work and potential areas for future collaboration through a pair of virtual forums. The 2020 Mid-Atlantic Forum, held May 19, and a June 23 Supplemental Forum provided interactive opportunities for participants to engage representatives of the Mid-Atlantic states, tribes, regional and federal agencies that comprise MACO.
The May Forum included welcoming remarks by MARCO Management Board Chair Kisha Santiago-Martinez, keynote remarks by New York State Energy Research & Development Authority President/CEO Alicia Barton and a plenary panel with Deerin Babb-Brott, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy principal assistant director for oceans and environment; Walt Musial, National Renewable Energy Laboratory offshore wind lead; and Charles Stock, NOAA Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory research oceanographer. The Supplemental Forum was held to provide an additional chance for stakeholders who missed the May event to take part in the virtual conversations with MACO members.
Videos and other materials from the event can be found on the Mid-Atlantic Forum web page and are linked below.
